We study the complex interrelationships among social context factors (such as economic status, gender, ethnicity, and social support), health (including chronic conditions and disability), and traumatic stress. We aim to understand these relationships at multiple levels of analysis using multiple research strategies, and to contextualize our research to be applicable to individuals, communities, researchers, and professionals.
